Raúl and Díaz-Canel congratulate the Sandinista Revolution

“On such a significant day for the brotherly Nicaraguan people, we extend our warmest congratulations on the 43rd anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Revolution”.

the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, expressed their appreciation.

The President extended his greetings on Twitter: “Today we ratify our will to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and solidarity with the Homeland of Sandino,” he said.

On the same social network, the member of the Political Bureau and Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, assured that Nicaragua is moving forward with the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity presided over by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo.

With the triumph of the Sandinista National Liberation Front on July 19, 1979, 45 years under the yoke of the Somoza military dictatorship came to an end.

The commemorations in Managua were attended by Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.
