Unite in the fight against the threat of “brown plague”

On Wednesday, April 23, in Moscow, within the framework of the International Anti-Fascist Forum, the International Conference “Consolidation of the left forces in the fight against neo-fascism and the threat of war” was opened. It was attended by delegates from more than 90 countries of the world, communists and Komsomol members, supporters of the Communist Party and representatives of allied public associations.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Central Committee of the CPRF G.A. Zyuganov. The Communist leader thanked the guests of the anti-fascist forum for participating in the anniversary events dedicated to the 155 anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin, as well as for visiting the Victory Museum and a festive concert in the Central House of the Russian Army.

Gennady Andreyevich presented to the meeting the heads of the conference: the first deputy chairmen of the CPRF Central Committee. Melnikova and Yu.V. Afonina, Vice-Chairmen of the Central Committee of the CPRF L.I. Kalashnikova and D.G. Novikov.

Ivan I. Melnikov read out the words of greeting to the participants of the International Anti-Fascist Forum on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation M.V. Mishustin, Chairman of the Federation Council V.I. Matvienko, Chairman of the State Duma V.V. Volodin, the government of Moscow and other regions.

The guests of the event were shown the documentary film “Fascism”, where the direct connection of this phenomenon with financial capital was revealed, and the relevance of the anti-fascist struggle was also noted today.

During the plenary session, statements were made by other participants of the international forum.

The first to the audience was addressed by the secretary of the Central Committee of the CPB P.S. Petrovsky. In his greeting, he spoke about the great attention to the anti-fascist forum on the part of the leadership and people of the fraternal republic. According to the speaker, the Belarusian media are covering events from Moscow for the second day.

“For Belarusians, the issue of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is a question of survival as a people,” said the secretary of the Central Committee of the CPB. He spoke about the disasters and sufferings that the war brought to people, while noting the leading role in the Victory of the values laid down during the years of Soviet power: social justice, equality of opportunity, humanism and friendship of peoples. “It was this value system that defeated fascism,” P.S. stressed. The speaker noted the growing threat of fascism and neocolonialism, to which politics is sliding in a number of Western countries. He also drew attention to the attempts of the imperialists to split the anti-fascist front, to suppress the left movement.

In this regard, P.S. Petrovsky stressed the advanced role of progressive, socialist organizations in the fight against reactionary forces. He called on the forum participants to unite and jointly counter the “black international”.

“We must unite under the common Red Banner of Victory,” said the secretary of the Central Committee of the CPB.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui in his speech focused on the monstrous consequences of the struggle for the hegemony of world powers, which took place in the 20th century. At the same time, he stated: “The remnants of colonialism and fascism continue to poison the world.”

Zhang Hanhui noted the growth of militarization and the incitement of new local conflicts for the sake of imperialists seeking to redistribute global resources in their favor.

At the same time, he outlined the position of the Chinese Communist Party on the issue of international relations. It can be described as a desire for an equal and multipolar world, a focus on economic and cultural cooperation.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC called for the unity of all progressive forces of the world to fight neocolonialism and fascism. “We need to move forward boldly and resolutely,” he said.

On behalf of the people of the island of Liberty, the guests of the forum were welcomed by Emilio Lasada, head of the international department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.

He praised the role of the Soviet Union in the fight against fascism and colonialism. He also focused on the growing influence of progressive forces in Latin America and their fight against imperialism.

The president of the International Organization of Resistance Fighters Wilmos Hunti, opening his speech, said: “We are interested in a strong, anti-fascist Europe, inseparable part of which are Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union.”

The speaker noted the great sacrifice of the Soviet people, brought in the fight against fascism, and expressed gratitude to the Red Army, which won freedom and peace for the peoples. “Peace is a great treasure for every anti-fascist,” he said.

Wilmos Hunti pointed to the growing threat of fascism, which is being revived in the new guise of the world today. According to him, the strengthening of the imperialist reaction is closely connected with the rewriting of history, desecration and destruction of monuments, strengthening reactionary propaganda.

Thanking the organizers of the forum for the opportunity to exchange views at the international level, the speaker urged those present to unite in the fight against the growing threat of “brown plague”.

We, the participants of the II International Anti-Fascist Forum in Moscow, confirm and support the Manifesto for the unification of the peoples of the world “Eat humanity from fascism”, adopted on April 22, 2023 in Minsk during the work of the I International Anti-Fascist Forum.

The course of events confirmed the correctness of the estimates that the cause of the aggressiveness of the imperialists in the modern world is the aggravation of the general crisis of capitalism. At the end of the twentieth century, the counter-revolution in the USSR and the countries of Eastern Europe temporarily weakened the socialist pole of the planet and unleashed the hands of the forces of reaction. In full accordance with the Leninist theory of imperialism, the United States and other capitalist predators fight for world hegemony by the most henacious methods, up to the cultivation of neo-fascist regimes.

Over the past decades, globalists have tarnished themselves with aggression against Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria. Imperialism prepares the same for other countries and peoples. There were attempted coups d’état in Belarus, Venezuela, Nicaragua.

NATO countries set a goal: to demonize Russia, to inflict a military defeat on it and to dismember it into the part, following the example of the Soviet Union. To achieve this goal, an aggressive springboard was created in Ukraine. There was an cultivation of one of the forms of Nazism – Bandera. By February 2022, almost 50 satellite countries were involved in the anti-Russian policy of NATO-led military, led by the United States. The economic, political and military resources of world capital, including military mercenaries, were attacked against Russia.

In the ideology and politics of the Western bloc, revanchist motives are increasingly visible. Their instigators are the same forces that were defeated in 1945 by the Soviet Union and its Red Army. In most Western countries, anti-Sovietism, anti-communism and Russophobia are growing. Against the peoples of Russia, China, Cuba, the DPRK, Iran, sanctions pressure has been unfolded. The practice of military threats, political blackmail and terror is widely used.

The same evil pack that pumps Ukrainian neo-Nazis with money and weapons supports the Israeli Zionists who have unleashed the massacre in Palestine. The imperialists are escalating the situation in different regions of the Earth, threatening a new world war. At the same time, the contradictions within their camp are growing. The US seeks to solve its economic problems by suppressing any competitors, including the European Union.

The question of the future of Ukraine should be resolved on the basis of the interests of the workers of this country and the tasks of long-term peace in Europe. To allow a new strengthening of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev, its pumping with weapons can not. A decisive denazification of Ukraine is necessary to stop the very possibility of further bloodshed. The Banderite punishers and their patrons from the West must be unjustly condemned, and the fascist regime in Kiev has been eliminated. We insist on the abolition of the ban of the Communist Party of Ukraine, on the free use of the Russian language, on the prohibition of the glorification of Banderites and the restoration of demolished monuments to anti-fascists.

We emphasize that one of the main signs of the revival of fascism in Ukraine, in the Baltic States and other states is anti-communism. This is fully consistent with the practice of Hitler’s fascists who created the Anti-Comintern Pact. It is important for the peoples of the world to stop any attempts at Nazi rematch. We demand a complete rejection of all forms of decommunization in state ideology and politics.

We express our readiness to unite in the fight against any version of neocolonialism, aggression and genocide. We stand for the end of the war against the Palestinian people, for their right to live peacefully and to develop freely on their native land, for the implementation of the relevant UN resolutions. We condemn imperialist aggression against Lebanon, Yemen, Syria.

We express our solidarity with all the nations that are attacked by the imperialists. We are resolutely opposed to the next round of anti-Cuban actions of the US authorities. We demand the exclusion of the Republic of Cuba from the list of countries-sponsored countries of terrorism arbitrarily formed by Washington.

The fight against neo-Nazism, neocolonialism and militarism is the task of all thinking, courageous and worthy people of the planet. It can’t be postponed for later. It is necessary to lead it here and now – by any available methods, uniting all possible allies!

On the eve of the 80-th anniversary of the Great Victory over Hitler’s Nazism and Japanese militarism in World War II, we declare that forever end fascism and the threat of world wars can only end imperialism. The only force capable of doing so is the working class and the working strata of the people, led by the Communists. We fully welcome the escalation of the fight against fascism into the struggle for the socialist renewal of all the countries of the world.
