America is the Destroyer of Peace

The world has just watched as the U.S.A., and its Zionist attack dogs, have caused further chaos in the middle east—attacking the sovereign country of Iran and attempting to reverse the Islamic revolution that hindered their exploitation of Iran’s labour power, land, resources and market. The U.S.A.’s modus operandi of regime change was attempted once more against the popular Iranian government. Their pathetic attempt has only strengthened the Iranian state by reinforcing its support among the Iranian people.
The imperialist endeavors have only ended up bolstering popular support for the defiant spirit of the Islamic revolutionary state and confirming the validity of the Arabic countries’ resistance to western imperialism and its proxy, Israel.
On the 75th anniversary of the outbreak the fatherland liberation war, the proletariat, and the peasantry, of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea remember their own battle against imperialist encroachment and offer their support to the anti-imperialist countries of middle east.

Dear friends,
We, from Pyongyang, extend warm greetings to you who are endeavouring as ever to strengthen the ties of friendship and unity with the Korean people, who are dynamically advancing along the road of independence against imperialism defending the international justice, progress and peace.
June 25 is the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War by the U.S. Despite the passage of time and the change of generations, we can never forget this war, which made us realize the true nature of US imperialism, the sworn enemy who inflicted immeasurable misfortune and suffering upon our people.
Many years have passed, and the times have advanced far since the 1950s, but the US’s aggressive ambition over Korea for world domination remains unchanged.
It is the cherished desire of mankind to take the road of independent development in a peaceful environment free from aggression and interference. But no one presents peace, and peace does not come of its own accord.
Today, in the Middle east and Europe, contradictions and confrontations incited by the imperialists turned out to be disastrous wars and catastrophic disasters beyond the critical point of explosion, and global peace and security are plunging into a great threat, amid the constant crisis of new wars and bloodshed all over the world.
Far from drawing a serious lesson from the disgraceful defeat in the Korean War in the last century, the United States has been resorting to ceaseless moves to ignite a new war, watching for an opportunity to invade our Republic once again. As a matter of fact, no day on the Korean peninsula has ever been threatened with peace and stability.
There are various kinds of military exercises in different countries and regions of the world, but there is no precedence of staging nuclear war exercises for decades with the formation of military alliances against a particular state.
The present situation makes it clear once again that it was a correct option for our people to have remarkably bolstered up the national defence capability with the nuclear force as its pivot, tightening the belts, and that the strength to overwhelm the enemy is the only peace and the guarantee of durable stability and development.
Our people will, in the future, too, resolutely counter the US moves to unleash another war and defend the sovereignty and security of the state with powerful war deterrent and strive to defend global peace and stability and realize genuine international justice.
Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we express our firm belief that the peace-loving forces of the whole world will unite firmly and wage a courageous anti-US joint struggle to contain and frustrate the aggressive moves of the US, the chief culprit of the destruction of peace, and actively support and encourage the just cause of the Korean people to defend the sovereignty of the country and global peace.
